Displaced children desperately need your support

Of the 21.3 million refugees in UNHCR’s care globally, over half are children. Fleeing from conflict and living in precarious conditions, they are the first and most frequent victims of violence, malnutrition and disease. More and more children are escaping from conflict on their own and arriving unaccompanied at UNHCR’s refugee camps and reception centres.

UNHCR cares for displaced children at every stage of their journey. We provide shelter, protection, healthcare, education, and psychosocial support to give them the chance of a safe and healthy childhood.
